According to customs statistics, in the first 11 months of this year, the total value of China's trade in goods was 37.96 trillion yuan, the same as the same period last year. Of this total, the export was 21.6 trillion yuan, up by 0.3%; Imports were 16.36 trillion yuan, down 0.5%; Trade surplus increased by 2.8% to 5.24 trillion yuan. In November, China's exports of goods were 2.1 trillion yuan, up 1.7%; Imports reached 1.6 trillion yuan, up 0.6%. Specifically, in the first 11 months of this year, the main characteristics of China's imports and exports are as follows:

General trade imports and exports increased, the proportion increased. In the first 11 months, China's general trade imports and exports were 24.58 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.6%, accounting for 64.8% of the total value of China's foreign trade, an increase of 1 percentage point over the same period last year. China's import and export through bonded logistics totaled 4.99 trillion yuan, up 6.6%. Of this total, the export was 1.98 trillion yuan, up by 10.3%; Imports reached 3.01 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.3%. Imports and exports to ASEAN increased, and imports from the EU increased. In the first 11 months, ASEAN was China's largest trading partner, with a total trade value of 5.8 trillion yuan, up 0.1%, accounting for 15.3% of China's total foreign trade value. In the same period, the EU was China's second largest trading partner, with imports from the EU reaching 1.81 trillion yuan, an increase of 5%; The United States is our third largest trading partner, and Japan is our fourth largest trading partner. In the same period, China's imports and exports to countries jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative totaled 17.65 trillion yuan, up 2.6 percent. Imports and exports of private enterprises maintained growth. In the first 11 months, the import and export of private enterprises reached 20.24 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.1%, accounting for 53.3% of China's total foreign trade value, an increase of 3.1 percentage points over the same period last year. Among them, the export was 13.62 trillion yuan, up by 5.3%, accounting for 63% of the total export value; Imports reached 6.62 trillion yuan, up 7.6%, accounting for 40.5% of the total value of imports. Mechanical and electrical products accounted for nearly 60% of exports, of which mobile phones, automobiles exports increased. In the first 11 months, China exported 12.66 trillion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, an increase of 2.8%, accounting for 58.6% of the total export value. Among them, mobile phones reached 885.25 billion yuan, up by 3.3%; Automobiles reached 652.92 billion yuan, up 79.6%.
